“Aunt Carol, please clean the guest room right away and call the doctor. Tell her Serena is having her first heat period. Also, call the school and tell them that Serena and I will not be coming in today,” Charlotte instructed Aunt Carol.

“Noted, Miss. I’ll do it right away,” Aunt Carol said and left with the other servants, who were still dumbfounded by what had happened in the dining room.
