The heart of Paris, under the soft glow of the Eiffel Tower, was alight with the warmth of twilight. The air was alive with the scent of chestnuts roasting, mingling with the aroma of freshly baked croissants wafting from the bakeries nearby. People bustled past, their laughter and conversation filling the streets like music. Amidst this vibrant scene, Baekhyun and Hana found themselves standing in the midst of a small crowd, their attention fixed on each other. Hana couldn’t believe that she is meeting her ex-boyfriend, the one who loved her so much. They both were half drunk from a late-night party and stumbled onto a street dancing event.

"You're even more beautiful tonight," Baekhyun murmured, his eyes tracing the line of Hana's jaw. "The way the light catches your hair..." He reached up, gently tucking a stray lock behind her ear.

Hana felt her cheeks flush at his compliment. She looked up at him, her heart racing. "Thank you," she whispered, her voice barely audibles above the bustling crowd. "You're not so bad yourself." She smiled, and for a moment, Baekhyun was lost in the depths of her eyes.

The music swelled around them, and they began to sway together to its rhythm. As they danced, Baekhyun couldn't help but marvel at how easily they moved together. It was almost as if they'd been doing this for years. Their bodies seemed to know each other's movements before they even made them.

"Do you ever wonder what it would be like," Baekhyun found himself asking, his voice low and contemplative, "if we hadn't had our parents separated us?" He looked at her closely, searching for some hint of how she felt about the situation.

Hana hesitated for a moment before answering. "Sometimes," she admitted, her gaze never leaving his. She shrugged, trying to make light of the situation. "And look at us now. We're having a lovely time, aren't we?" She smiled up at him, and Baekhyun couldn't help but return the smile, feeling a warmth spread through him.

As they continued to dance, they lost themselves in each other's company, the world around them fading away. And in that moment, amidst the chaos of the city, they found a peace and a connection that neither of them had expected. It was as if they were the only two people in the world, and everything else had vanished into the night.

Hana felt Baekhyun's strong arms around her, his breath warm against her neck. She reveled in the way he held her, how they seemed to move as one. She wondered if this was what it felt like to be truly loved, and for a fleeting moment, she allowed herself to imagine what it might be like if their lives had been different.

Baekhyun's gaze roamed over Hana's face, taking in the way her eyes sparkled when she laughed, the way her lips curved into a smile. He felt a pang of longing deep in his chest, a yearning for more than just their arranged marriage. He wanted to know what it would be like to be with her, truly be with her, outside of the expectations and obligations that came with their arrangement.

As the music came to an end, they stood there in the middle of the crowd, their bodies still swaying to the beat. The air between them felt electric, charged with an unspoken understanding. Baekhyun leaned in, his lips close to her ear. "Would you like to get some coffee?" he asked softly. Hana felt herself blush at the intimacy of the suggestion, but she couldn't help but feel a thrill of anticipation run through her.

"Yes," she breathed. "I'd like that." They smiled at each other then, and as they began to walk through the crowded streets, it seemed to Baekhyun that the world around them had somehow shifted, becoming a little brighter, a little more alive. And in that moment, he knew that whatever the future held for them, he wouldn't trade this feeling for anything.

They found a small, cozy cafΓ© not far from the club, and settled into a corner booth. The scent of freshly brewed coffee and pastries filled the air, and soft jazz played in the background. As they sipped their drinks, they continued to talk, finding themselves more open and honest with each other than they ever had before.

Hana told Baekhyun about her passion for art, and how she hoped to one day open her own gallery. Baekhyun, in turn, shared his love of music and his dreams of becoming a successful composer. As they spoke, they found themselves laughing and arguing and teasing each other in the same way that close friends might.

"You know," Baekhyun said, leaning in closer, "I've always thought that we would be together forever. Your parents should have given us the chance to introduce my family and stuff, to see if we were even compatible." He hesitated, searching for the right words. "But now... I don't know. I think maybe it doesn't matter anymore."

Hana looked at him, her eyes shining in the dim light of the cafΓ©. "What do you mean?"

"I mean," he continued, "that maybe we can make the best out of tonight." He took a deep breath, and then, before he could change his mind, he leaned forward and kissed her.

Hana gasped, her eyes widening in surprise, but then she melted into him, returning the kiss with equal passion. As their lips moved together, as their tongues danced, Baekhyun felt a spark ignite inside of him, a fire that burned brighter than anything he'd ever known. He knew in that moment that he would never want this feeling to end.

As their kiss deepened, the world around them faded away, and all that remained was the two of them, caught up in a moment that felt like it could last forever.

But then, a sudden flash of light from outside the cafΓ© startled them apart, and they realized they'd been seen by someone they knew. A cold chill ran down Hana's spine as she recognized the figure standing across the street, his expression a mixture of surprise and anger.

"Oh my god," she whispered, her heart racing. "That's my brother." Even though she was intoxicated by alcohol in her body she could still rationalize the situation she was in.

Baekhyun's face paled as he registered the situation. ". Hana, I'm so sorry. I had no idea." He reached out to touch her hand reassuringly, but she pulled it away, her mind already spinning with the consequences of what had just happened.

"It's okay," she managed to say, her voice trembling. "It's not your fault."

They both watched as her brother continued to stare at them, his expression growing more and more furious. Hana knew she had to say something, but the words caught in . "I... I'll talk to him," she finally managed. "I'll explain."

She pushed herself out of the booth and hurried out of the cafΓ©, leaving Baekhyun alone and feeling utterly helpless. As he waited anxiously, his mind raced with all the possible scenarios that could play out. What if her brother didn't believe her? What if he told their parents? What if everything went horribly wrong?

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Hana re-entered the cafΓ©, her face pale and drawn. She took a shaky breath before sitting down across from Baekhyun. "He... he wants to talk to you."

Baekhyun felt a knot form in his stomach. "Now?"

Hana nodded, her eyes pleading with him to be brave. "I think it's better if we just face this together."

Baekhyun took a deep breath and stood up, following her out of the booth. His legs felt like jelly as he walked over to where her brother was waiting for him, his expression unreadable. He tried to steady his nerves as he approached, but the image of Hana's stricken face kept flashing through his mind, making it difficult to concentrate.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" her brother demanded, his voice harsh. "You know she's engaged, right?"

Baekhyun swallowed hard. "I... I didn't know," he said, his voice shaking. "I mean, I saw her at my friend’s party, and we just started talking... I had no idea she was engaged."

Her brother narrowed his eyes, clearly unconvinced. "Well, you should have. She's been seeing that guy for months now. Why would she be out here with you?"

Baekhyun glanced at Hana, who was staring at her shoes, her shoulders slumped. "I... I don't know," he admitted. "I guess I just thought she was having second thoughts."

Her brother's expression turned furious. "Second thoughts? You make it sound like she's some prize you can just take!" he shouted. "Do you have any idea how much damage you've done? How much shame you've brought on this family?"

Tears welled up in Hana's eyes as her brother's tirade continued. She wanted to speak up, to defend Baekhyun, but she couldn't find the words. She could see the anguish in Baekhyun's eyes as he listened to her brother, and it broke her heart.

Finally, her brother seemed to run out of steam, and he took a deep breath, his shoulders slu
